On February 9-10, 2017, the International Scientific and Practical Conference of Young Scientists, Post-Graduate Students and Students “Information Technologies in the Modern World: Research of Young Scientists” was held at the Semen Kuznets Kharkiv National Economic University.

The focus areas of the conference: discussion of actual problems and results of theoretical and practical research of young scientists, post-graduate students and students in the field of design of information systems, information technologies, use of modern information technologies in system management, business process modeling, application of geoinformation technologies in distance education and e-learning , information technologies in the publishing and printing industry, as well as the development of statistics tools.

Welcoming speech of the Deputy Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Dean of the Faculty of Economic Informatics of Semen Kuznets Kharkiv National Economic University, PhD of Science (Economics), Associate Professor of the Information Systems Department Grigory Kots.

The plenary session was addressed by:

1. Yevgenia Kamenyuka – a student of 1st year of master’s degree in the Faculty of Economic Informatics, Kharkiv National Economic University. Theme of the research: “Formation of readiness of future specialists in the technologies of electronic multimedia publications for innovative professional activities”.

2. Ivan Bilodid – a student of 1st year of master’s degree in the Faculty of Economic Informatics, Kharkiv National Economic University. Subject of the research: “Methodology for evaluating the cryptographic strength of block-symmetric ciphers based on their mini-versions”.

3. Marina Zuenko – 4th year student of the Faculty of Economic Informatics, Kharkiv National Economic University. Subject of the research: “Dynamic analysis of the movement of the personnel of the enterprise”.

4. Dmitry Volk  – 1st-year student of the Faculty of Management and Marketing, Kharkiv National Economic University. Theme of the research: “The use of electronic abstracts in the distance learning system”.

Based on the results of the conference, a collection of abstracts was published:
