Publication of conference materials

According to the results of the conference, abstracts, a collection of articles “Modern information systems” will be published and a collective monograph (language – Ukrainian, English, Russian) will be published.

The authors of the published materials are solely responsible for the absence of any plagiarism in any form, for the observance of copyright, for the selection, accuracy of the facts cited,quotes, data, own names and other information. Printed materials of the conference are given in the original language and in the author’s wording. The scientific committee of the conference does not necessarily share the views of the authors of the materials. The Scientific Committee of the conference may, without further explanation, refuse the materials in case of inconsistency with the subject matter, improper registration, other violations of the conditions for the provision of materials to the conference.

Requirements for the design of abstracts of reports

Sheet Format: A4 (21 × 29.7 cm).

Parameters of the page (deviations from the edge): to the left – 2.5 cm; to the right – 2.0 cm; from above – 2 cm; bottom – 2.5 cm. Font of Theses – Times New Roman; Drawing – straight; The size of the thesis is in two columns of equal width – 8 cm, the distance between the columns – 0,5 cm; the indent of the first line of the paragraph is 0.75 cm; alignment  in width. It should not be used to format text spaces, tabs, etc. Do not manually translate words, do not use headers or footers. Between the value of the value and the unit of its measurement, put an indeterminate space (Ctrl + Shift + Space). The report’s thesis page is filled in completely. 

The volume of abstracts is one full page. Formula Set: MS Equation Formula Editor. You should not use graphic objects, frames, and tables for a set of formulas.

Literature is executed according to IEEE Style.

The abstracts should contain the following dataе:

  1. UDC (alignment on the left edge);
  2. The title of the theses (bold text, center alignment);
  3. The surname and initials of the author (or co-authors), position, degree and academic rank (for students to indicate the course number), E-mail (center alignment);
  4. For students and graduate students it is obligatory to indicate the scientific supervisor – his name and initials, position, academic degree and academic rank (center alignment);
  5. The name of the university and the city where the author (s) works / studies (in italics, in the center);
  6. The main text of abstracts (alignment in width);
  7. A list of literature (not necessarily) (alignment in width)

To participate in the conference, materials that have not been published previously are accepted. The submitted materials should be carefully considered, since they are not edited additionally.

The collective monograph

In the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Information Security and Information Technologies” it is proposed to take part in a collective monograph in the following areas:

  1. Information security of the state, society and the individual.
  2. Programming and information and communication technology.
  3. Information technology in economics, medicine and education.

The size of the section of the monograph: 1 printed sheet (16 pages of text, including letters).

Language monographs: Ukrainian, English, Russian.

Materials that have not been previously published are accepted for participation in the conference. Submissions should be carefully read as they are not additionally edited.

The number of authors in one publication is not more than 2 (mandatory publication of theses in the conference book). The cost of the monograph is 360,00 UAH for two copies (one publication 180,00 UAH).

Digest of articles “Information Processing Systems”

Journal «Modern Information Systems» is an international peer-reviewed publication .

Founder and publisher: Ivan Kozhedub Kharkiv National Air Force University.

Publication language: various languages – Ukrainian, Russian, English.

The Digest is inscribed to the “List of Scientific Professional Publications of Ukraine, where results of final papers for the Doctor of Science degree and Doctor of Philosophy can be published” (Technical and Military Sciences), maintained by order of Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine № 1528 dated December, 29, 2014 (as amended № 1604 dated December, 22, 2016).

Publication purpose: the results of researches on the development of new information technologies both for solving the traditional tasks of collecting, processing and data presentation, as well as for building information processing systems in various problem areas are published in the Digest. The Digest intending for science officers, lecturers, PhD students, adjuncts, advanced students as well as cadets and senior students of corresponding specialties.

Publicity and access: the Digest is stored in federal abstract database of Vernadsky National Library “Ukrayinika naukova” and included with the Index Copernicus (ICV 2017 = 81.99), the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) and periodical reference book Ulrich’s Periodicals Directory (USA). The Digest is fully open access, which means that all articles are available on the internet to all users immediately upon publication.

Author’s rights: the authors retain all copyrights and publishing rights with no limited publications. The Digest allows users: to read, download, copy, distribute, type and refer to the whole articles upon conditions of affiliation. Repeated recycling of Digest contents is allowed according to Creative Commons СС-BY.

Publication price: 50 uah for one page in the Digest format.
